Spectre Twerk wip and new physics sim software
Added 2025-04-18 18:16:49 +0000 UTCHey everyone :3 Feeling quite a bit better now, so I'm happy to jump back into work!
So to start off, I wanna focus on the new simulation method I've been working with. A big thanks to Snips456fur for offering his support and helping me get it all up and running! I've been through many methods in the past, and this by far is the most intuitive, fast and downright fun one to use.
Playing around with it for the first time, I tested out some scenarios:

So to properly give it a shot I decided to make a simple twerk loop with our favorite robot :3 That and I saw a person/a few people ask for a spectre twerking animation in the past so heres that :p
This here was a quick animation I did using DiffusedLizards' procedural animation system without being put through the sim.
And then with
This gave some pretty promising results, so I decided to go back over and redo the animation by hand, since I'm pretty bad at using his animation method x)
I'll be doing the sim tomorrow, but this is the animation so far
