i actually think that it makes sense that joon sung likes sung ho that much. Like he was already attracted to him in the beginning and then they spend so much time together just talking. Perhaps Jonn sung"s interest him grew more from spending that much time together. I don't think seon woo and Sung ho are similar, considering sung ho has always shown interest in only seon woo. His changing is from Joon sungs steadfast interest and seon woo's inability to make up his mind. I think the anger people have with seon woo is that we are watching what has been happening in 3 days for a span of like 4 weeks. That kind of makes him look more indecisive than he actually is.

I can only talk about me and my friends and why we don't like Seonwoo. He reminds at least half of us of abusive family members or ex partners. Which was only a small red flag in the beginning but then I heard it from more and more people which set of my alarm bells. If 1 Person reminds at least 10 people independently of an abusive person they know without outside influence (that was before all they saw all the hate on SNS) I will just distance myself to be on the safe side. I'm not talking physically abusive for the most part, the people he reminded them of were mostly narcissists and people with borderline (like me... To be fair, I have BPD 😅)

I think the conversation Jungsung and Seonwoo had about Sungho last episode is out of order. There are boxes in the kitchen that the four people from the store brought in this episode before the bbq. Those boxes were there during the conversation last episode. I think the conversation took place after the bbq and after they recorded the messages.

I am telling you. You would not believe the Tik Toks I've come across about Seon Woo and people being literally so upset with him. Like I understand not liking him, but what exactly did he do wrong? He is always voicing his opinions and you may not like or understand it, but at least you know where his head is at. Unless I see him do something that totally left field, he is still my number 1 in the show.

I felt so validated after the discussion you guys had about Seon Woo because I could not understand the hate and I thought I was going crazy. Like you've mentioned, I have dated people solely on the fact that they liked me first and then I came around to my own feelings and that is exactly what Seon Woo did. Also, number 6 does come off a bit strong especially when he tied the ribbon around number 2 hand like why are you being so possessive it's been 4 days sir! I've seen people say that they hope 1 and 6 end up together and that Seon Woo leave the show single because he rubs them the wrong way and should end up alone. Like come on, it's a dating show you can't be mad at him for doing exactly what he's supposed to do. But I honestly feel like if number 1 left a voice message for number 6, Seon Woo should move on to someone else because he made his intentions clear before the voice message thing and if number 1 still decided to call 6 after all that, then the confusion shouldn't be an issue anymore for 1, and they can both move on to other people respectfully. I'm so ready for episode 8 I might watch without y'all for this one and rewatch it on patreon because I want to know what the hell happened and who number 1 gave his message to!

I have to disagree on some points, first he already said he knew JS was interested in SH but not to what degree, he only just realised just how much JS actually liked SH. The comment about his rival being aggressive came from MS not from SW and it’s also only in the sense of this person is so serious about this whereas he is unsure. He said appearance wise he wouldn’t have even given SH a second look but having met him here in the house and having gotten to know him is why he is attracted to him. He might still be unsure about his feelings and I honestly would be too given the circumstances. He clearly said that I wonder how this would have been have we met outside of the men’s house since this is the first time he’s even interested in someone like SH and doesn’t know what to do hence asking for advice from multiple people. At least that’s how I view the things that were shown to us 😊

Thank you so much for this! I feel so validated for my way of thinking about pretty much all of them. I really was about to be gaslight into thinking that I’m crazy for seeing a entirely different show than all of those keyboard warriors. I just don’t get where they’re all getting their degrees from and are also able to diagnose trough the all of this editing. You know discussions like these are the reason why I will never leave your patreons. Even when I’m trying to save some money I still end up reconsidering and resubscribing either the same day or a few days later lol. Eh, I think #2 knew how #6 felt because of the time he snooped in their room and saw the gift from #6 to #1 and it had #6's selfie polaroid in it. I feel like the issue is #2 seems to be talking with like 3 of the guys in the house about how "aggressive" #6 is and how he is his rival and seems incredibly insecure about it. In this episode, #2 even said he didn't know if he liked #1 or if he just liked him as a brother and #6 has been steadfast the entire time with no confusion. I love how #2 was the matchmaker this episode but he said he wouldn't have approached #1 outside of the show which leads me to believe that any sort of relationship would have trouble lasting outside of the house they are in. #6 is aggressive and very straightforward but I do feel like #1 really is torn and is starting to lean towards his ex-roomie because #2 is kinda unsure of #1 and #1 knows it.

Once thing I’ve noticed about this series and how the reactions to season 2 have been I’m noticing is how nuanced conversations seem to not really exist anymore. While I think there are still many people who do a good job like everyone here and in the comments, but as a whole especially on the internet I feel most people dont ever want to explore the grey areas of humanity, they just want to label something as good or bad, someone to root for and someone to root against and just leave it at that when in reality human beings don’t work that way. That’s why I appreciate a series like this coming out because we are able to see the how different human beings in the gay community approach situations like this. Each one of these people have their own ways of living, talking, dating, feeling and expressing how they feel. There isn’t one right way to approach these things like in a BL..it’s much more messy, complex, and nuanced than the conversations people are having about seonwoo alone. They just tell me they have no wanting to even try to understand his point of view..I find this perplexing to me..it feels like people never want to go below surface level and this goes for people consuming media as well. I think for me it’s just been very eye opening. Thanks for the awesome discussion and this season I really think has been great as a whole it’s bringing up very interesting dialogue that I love to see.
