His parents are cordial to each other for a reason...as a grown azz adult now (and tbh then) it ain't even his bidness...besides would you rather have them hate each other...smh...grow da fuq up. I mean shouldn't they be cordial...they have children together, at the time 2 of which were still young. The other 2 were adults right? 2nd, what do ya want them to stay together if the love was gone... 3rd, ya daddy say he's over it...YOU get over it too. Also, if the ceremony or toast wasn't over, don't walk out in a huff...shoot the new hubby seems nice and even caring about her "first family"... stop being a baby...ur a grown man Also if I was the mom and I gotta stop in the middle of my wedding festivities with my new hubby to settle ur grown azz nerves...cha...I'da been like, hell naw. From the parents flashback sounds to me like ya had one of those situations where opposites may have attracted but the differences were too much to handle and still stay married...So mama and daddy may not still be married or lovers, but they are friends...so there "soulmate" bond is now one of good friends and NOT lovers...but using the soulmate bond to co-parent...which I totally understand.

I loved the scene with the class when Tian said he didn't want to be partnered with Lomfon and the entire class looked at Lomfon like..."dude what did you do..." LOL THe scene with Tai and Lomfon in the restaurant, I was glad to see both Tai and Lomfon having a very mature discussion about their feelings...but mahn...when Patts walked in..I could see how it might have been miscontrused...I mean Tai and Lomfon were kinda close... As for Patts resigning, I was like...dude relax...take a break, but resigning...uh...too much. I do appreciate Patts friends trying to talk him down from resigning though. Glad they told him to maybe just take some time. Cause like dude it's only been what 1 week? Simma down Patt, simma down. Now as for Tai and the mother's wedding...that deserves a seperate comment.

2023-07-09 16:14:44 +0000 UTCEven for a filler episode, it was good. I enjoyed the healthy adult way Tai and Lomfon handled their situation, and how Tai's parent's discussed their situation. The only drama being Patts and his resignation...but even still I see it as "just need a break" thing. Like dude...take some time off, but I mean keep the job...LOL My baby boy Tien...Lomfon gonna have to beg on his hands and knees to get back in Tien's good graces.

I totally get what you mean!🫶👌👏👏maybe the writers are trying to say like I interpreted this before, this whole “soulmate” thing is just an opportunity for people to meet, that’s it; what happens in the relationship is just like any other relationships, it depends on their own choices and decisions, how they work on their relationship; it’s their own business to deal with, being soulmates doesn’t guarantee anything and it’s nothing special when it comes to dating…… which is why this ep, mostly I loved the parents’ talk and the family bonding, hugging scenes, also tien and tai’s hug and cry, so this ep is more of family resolution ep, nothing much about the love plot, and next week, yeah, it’s pretty much predictable what’s going to happen; and about the loophole you mentioned, I’m just like, whatever, I give up, I don’t even want to try to make sense to it like why Lomfon suddenly figured everything out after he had to kiss to experiment??? And after just 1 week, he cleared his feelings altogether, LMAOOOOOO!!!! But let’s just go along with the script then, both step and step and La pluie’s scripts need improvement for sure!!😳😣🤔🤔

2023-07-09 13:27:00 +0000 UTCBut anyway, really nice aftermath and resolution ep, and next week’s finale will be the classic chasing and getting your man back trope and then happy ending…..see you all next week🎉🎉🎉 Ps: at least La pluie’s 1-2 weeks’ time jump is so much better and makes way more sense than step by step’s 2 years’ jump that we will get next week😬😅😳🫢but I get it, both shows are trying to say that sometimes love takes a bit of time……

2023-07-09 13:17:13 +0000 UTCThis ep, not so cursed like we expected and frankly I quite enjoyed it, the major highlight was absolutely no doubt the parents’ talk and discussion with Tai and others as well……the whole life lesson about “destiny” “soulmate” love etc…….to get Tai to understand his parents as well as helping him understand himself, his own love life a bit better😇🤝🫶👏👌 I really enjoyed the parents’ scenes this episode, I wonder if the parents talked and explained all this to Tai earlier, would that make a difference? Would Tai understand this soulmate thing a bit sooner and better? Maybe yes maybe not, but I get it, this is a drama, if the parents explained sooner, and tai understands them, there might not be that much amount of drama to happen anymore😅😅😅😅😅Tai might still believe soulmate, trust in himself and in love, then him and phat might not encounter this much trouble……😂😂😂😂😂

2023-07-09 13:16:38 +0000 UTCi cant with this story and out-of-character people. screw the rain, the entire plot and premise has been swept completely away by a hurricane This series started off well despite the excessive flashbacks cos the chemistry and acting was good - but the plot and script singlehandedly decided to screw everyone over. let me guess, next ep, Patts is in a vet clinic near that mountain and for some reason they climb that mountain separately and manage to hear each other and then suddenly communicate well and then get back together for a happy ending. Lomfon pulls the heartstrings of Tien in a carefully crafted video/writing for that schoolwork that essentially confesses his feelings (which we have no idea how he made sense of) and they have their kiss too. what a waste i hope the lead actors get another project (with decent script) together
