Facts! I was rooting for Uncle Jim the entire series. you are correct Jim was a selfless guy.

IT'S BEEN 6 MONTHS?! AND ONLY A SNIFF KISS?! It's Jim having kept Wen waiting all this time and Wen STILL milkshaking for him, for me. Gaipa really dodged one there, because Jim is too much damn work. Wen really could've given either Alan or a random some ass over the course of all this time, and I wouldn't have even blamed him! *grumbles* And I want a FirstMix show!

I was one who thought the mom was homophobic? But that was becasue of what Jim said she'd said about male-male relationships, but after this episode, I think it's exactly what Wen was saying to Jim. Alot of so called "allies" are allies as long as it's not THEIR sons and daughters who are gay. For example, I work with some people who I know vote for anti-gay conservative politicians, and yet they keekee and heehaw with the gay guy/girl who works with us, but the idea that her own child may be non-binary or gay is just too much for her. So MiLing's mom is fine with her brother who doesn't live with her and doesn't flaunt his "gayness" in front of her but the idea that her own son is gay is a step too far...which is tupid but not uncommon sadly

I actually think many people are giving Jim a harder time than he deserves...yes he's been hard headed and a bit out of touch when it comes to new generational stuff, but Jim is truly a selfish guy with a good heart. Who hasn't truly harmed or cheated anyone and literally gave his last everything to help his nephew, his employees and even Wen. And even with his unbendablilty he's still a good guy with yes some outdated ideas, but knowing his trauma kinda even explains that.

Peeking through the heart wrenching death of Mrs. Hong was a scene that warmed my heart. There was an actual light hearted and genuine affection between Li Ming and Jim. A genuine smile on their faces which was wonderful to see. It did my heart good. I absolutely love the Titos of the World group and just how real you are. Thanks!

Such a great episode. The storyline with Gaipa and his mom...lordt...I really did have to pause, skip and then go back. during the eulogy and funeral scene (my aunt literally passed 2 weeks ago and today was her birthday and we're burying her in two days), Khatoung's acting was soo good! I usually have so much more to say, but this ep was just so good and emotional that I honestly don't even have much to say. Just .. wow! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

When the mom said I dunno what to say me: “ Nono you know what to say since you think you better than me and got all this fucking degrees” head bobbing back and forth 😒🤣🤣🤣. She needs to be for f*cking real uncle Jim wasn’t in the room when you fournikate in this room ! Uncle Jim at his prehistoric age asking dumb ass question got me on the floor SIR UR 40 YOUVE BEEN AROUND. Like what ? Is it my fault if he gay ? Like is it YOUR mom fault if u are ? Be for real 😮 The way I’m sipping 2 bottle of different wine is crazy because why ? Why they killed her … please my hubby is like “Guuurl u good ?” They nasty GMMTV for giving my 12% trauma all over again shiiiiiiiit ! Alan still being delusional IS AGGRAVATING bruuuh … you got uncle Jim say sorry to you for something that WEN did ? That’s crazy !! NO because before GAIPA start singing I stood up and then “GMMTV be for real ? Y’all wanna crash people like that ? “

This was a great episode! I love the realization for Uncle Jim that he has NO legacy of his own. His former lover Beam had everything in HIs name and upon his death Jim was left with nothing. Beam died at age 36. Gaipa's mom made plan for her son she left him a fortune. she too died young at age 49. and here is Uncle Jim almost 40 with no legacy!. Li-ming who has growing pangs is the "Sharpest knife in the shed" in this episode he is taking his life on his terms and questioning what society say he should do and be. Kudos!!. TEAM WEN!! he cleaned up his baggage and is patiently waiting to move forward with Jim. poor Alan just seem disgusted every time he looks at Uncle Jim. and Let's not forget The soon daddy to be Leng, his worry is tru to life sadly I know too many soon to be daddies with the same issues.

It's official! I'm going to cry like a baby when this series ends too! MSP took me out and now it is Moonlight Chicken's turn. I have enjoyed this series so much! The acting on everyone's part has been nothing but phenomenal!!! I love every last one of them!! P'Aof !!! I knew you would't let me down!! This series has been an experience. It touched my heart. I'm really not ready to let it go!! Enjoyed the reaction guys!!

I think it does a good job of showing Jim just not really having any idea about how younger kids in this era are becoming more accepting. Hes just kinda clueless when it comes to stuff now and still drawing from his experience when he was young

haven’t watched yet, gotta wait until I am off from work, but just need to know one question? Was all the ranting over the preview warranted? Or did Jim at least redeem himself? Can’t wait to watch this so and come back to watch y’all reaction 👏🏾👏🏾

nellybell47
