I used to be quite good at origami. My goal was to make the tiniest swan I could with my fat fingers. I think my best was 1/4" (~0.6cm) when it was done. Now I can't even fold a paper airplane.

I tried origami years ago and it ended up with me rage-quitting. Might be worth another try!

Have you tried Origami, at least if you make a mess with that it's just paper and your furniture doesn't get ruined.

I've heard this mentioned a couple of times on Bargain Hunt. 'poker work' or 'pyrography' I think I've heard it called.

I literally posted this before you got to the part about wood burning in your video. God damn it!

Other craft things you could try which we do at home which isn't too difficult: Leatherwork, pyrography (wood burning), sewing random stuff. Go to Hobbycraft, they have lots of starter kits for random crafts.

Hi, Alanna, that was brilliant, you even make watching paint dry entertaining. Idea for a Christmas cooking video, home made mince pies, my grandmother used to make them and they were lovely. Idea for Christmas mask, Santa Claus, but don't scare the children. If you want to take a week off at Christmas that's fine, you've earned a rest. Don't worry we will all be here the next week keener for your next video than ever. Looking forward to your next video soon.
