Unfortunately, Manta doesn't have a commenting system :,( Or else I'd be all over that every week LOL. I've actually been considering making a discord server since a few people have asked about it and I get a few comments every week from people on the newest episodes. I'll probably be making a test one this month and giving access to Patrons first to give it a whirl and see what happens haha! That said, YES Lucian really thought he was past his internalized homophobia, but god there's a whole lot left that he hadn't realized about. I have been itching to show y'all more and more about the NPC body though hahaha I can't say more than that, but you're certainly not reading too much into things. A lot of themes are going to be a little messy in that they fit into a lot of different situations. I just hope I've made it somewhat cohesive www Thank you by the way for reading the story! Commenting here because i just finished the ch and IDK how to comment on Manta (or if you can??) This ch made me so emotional... poor Lucian!! I really love how he's really trying his best to embrace himself and grow from all his internalised homophobia in his past... Alternative title for NPCs should be like "Out of the Closet in Another World..." kfhfjskdhdh. It's such a poignant character arc for him, and I like seeing how he's actively trying to choose his own happiness and go out of his comfort zone to trying these things that he knows will make him happy. Obviously also sad that he had to get isekai'd to be able to do that. I'm also sooooo intrigued by all the breadcrumbs you're leaving about the NPC's body, past Lucian, and current Lucian -- are they different people? Is he distancing his current self from more than his internalised homophobia in that scene? 🤔 👀 (🤡 <- me if im reading too much into it) Also hooray for fantasy zippers 😎
