Artists usage rights
Added 2025-04-15 19:23:39 +0000 UTCHi, just wanted to post this again. If I'm the photographer, you can use the photo as reference and just credit me when you post it somewhere. If I'm the model, I always list on here who the photographer is. They give me verbal permission to share the photos but they ultimately own the copyright, so you'd need to ask them permission to draw/paint/edit their photo/art. Their photos are their art. So, don't "paint on someone else's painting" without asking. I do plan to create a set of 20 reference photos for fine art/figure drawing artists to create from sometime this year, too.
