Something wacky - a first person view for Versus Mode
Added 2022-04-17 05:10:01 +0000 UTCA first person view is something that was asked for a long time - dated all the way back to Heroine Rumble days. So decided to give it a try in the past couple of days.
Well, it is functional but too janky for the baseline game, as the game was not designed for first person in mind. Maybe add it as a cheat?
Couple more shots. This post is public but it does work for grabs, with a failsafe defaulting back to the third person orbit view if the first person view is looking into empty space (for example, the stand_fondle_xxx moves). You can move the camera during grabs with WASD keys if viewing in first person. But again, the models wasn't designed for such zoomed in shots so quite a bit of clipping and general jankiness. Buyer's discretion is advised.

2022-04-19 13:06:32 +0000 UTCI don't mind if it does not work for overall gameplay but, for grabs, damn that's good. I don't mind some clipping and all as it's expected, especially when sliders are involved. The benefits of PoV far outweigh the little jankiness it can have in my opinion. Anyway, I'm glad to see it's a thing!
