Mod Repo & etc

A while ago I asked for suggestions on a central web host/service to use as the mod repo. One of the suggestion was reddit. So I thought, why not, let's give that a try. Made a subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/enlit3dGames. Added 2 pinned posts: one on how to install mods, and another on a collection of modding guide/tutorials. Then added a couple mods there as well. Probably missed a couple, so feel free to post about your own. I don't expect a lot of traffic, so this should be sufficient for a while...

Now regarding the game:

Implemented multiple hotbar pages. So for example, you can have 1 page for combat, 1 page for outfits, and another for life skills, etc.

Then implemented the "seduction_taunt" ability mentioned a while back:

One of the problem that I had to solve/decide is where/how to learn the ability from. If player character starts with this ability, that means (with how everything is currently implemented) you'll need to restart from scratch to have access to this ability. Also thought about having a NPC skill trainer of sorts, but with the village being temporary as it is, feels like a lot of wasted effort.

I Decided to go with the skillbook approach. Skillbooks are a type of items you can purchase that when used, grants you the skill. This approach has two advantages: it is relatively easy to implement - piggybacking on the existing item/inventory system, and it is fairly adaptable, can easily add new skills and new skill book to merchants or as rewards.

Currently working on getting grabs to work with units placed on devices. I don't expect to make an unique interaction for each type of device, at least for the first patch. More importantly, I want to get the framework working and make it work with AI, which can be very challenging already. Maybe only 1 or 2 moves, we'll see.

Finally, I am going to introduce a $10 Patreon tier. Had a few feedback from quite a while ago that they want to support the project but feel the $15 tier is too much and my response was that I don't know what the $10 tier reward should be. I really want to avoid having a $5 build, a $10 "early" build, a $25 "super early" build, and god knows what else. 

So, the $10 tier reward is going to be straightforward: cheat codes. With the console command, cheat codes are now a possibility and it makes a lot of sense to do so. 

As for why I want the $10 tier. Simple, I want to raise some funds. With the majority of features being completed or soonTM to be completed, I am going to turn my attention towards content creation, and in 3D realtime games, that meant assets, assets, and assets. Unfortunately, making 3D assets is very consuming to do it yourself and I want to explore the possibility to purchase/commission art & models. And that's why I want to introduce a $10 tier and see if that's feasible.

Hi Enlit. I can't really afford to go up to 10 permanently. But would be happy to increase my pledge now and again. To help you get more assets/ content for the game. It'll be well worth it. Keep up the great work.

I don't think he gives a shit about that game anymore... Would of loved to see the game continuing on getting more updates as it doesn't even feel like a finished product which I still can't believe he said "Finished". He will probably abandon this one too soon just you watch and then he will move onto the next one then the next one... and so on.

I'll sub when you go back and finish Heroine Rumble. You know, take that god awful adventure mode out and put the survival mode back in like you said you would, then decided it was "finished". This half cocked adventure game really isn't worth the money, as there's mods that do the same exact thing and more for multiple games, however, there aren't very many eroge wrestling games out there.

I agree to this. All I want to do is cheat the coins but I don't want to pay an extra 5-10$ more just for a 1 time use... He makes enough money a month anyway why does he have to charge even more?...

I pay $ 5. I know that money and time are needed for development. Why is the $ 10 version better? I would not use the cheat. Why is it worth $ 10 to pay? If I get updates that have more weapons, clothes, missions ... You can even raise the minimum amount to $ 15. I'll give it if it's worth it. If you want to make extra money, I recommend DLC. Many game developers do this. The advantage is that players can decide which DLC they want. It just takes what it takes. Many DLCs are a lot of money for the developer. Everyone is satisfied.

I thought about some suggestions : being able to chose a face expression when you sex someone (angry sex, pleasuring like in HR...), being able to punish/humil before stripping an opponent, being able to have an enemy as a unit after defeating it with a punish/humil move (like done with devices).

The intent here isn't something like Gas Flask, but rather, a "ranged mace" kind of thing? Basically, high impact damage, low to null health damage, and eventually knocking down or just simply breaking armor with wind, rather than some one hit instant effect.

If we do potentially get "skills" or even actual "spells", there's one spell that I've seen in Fire Emblem (in tome form) that would be a perfect fit for this game... Disrobing Gale (Dis-Robe-ing)... and if you are wondering... yes, it does actually put enemy units in their underware after you attack them. Oh Japan, how we could all learn from your mysterious, schmexy ways.

Do you plan on adding more perks/skills that could be obtained from dungeons/bosses? I was thinking about things like regaining green health during sex, a spell that gasses in a cone in front of you...
