Late to the party, but in regards to the "Having on Jeeves and Wooster in the background when you're working" - I did the exact same thing! Jeeves and Wooster was my writing white noise 2014-2019!

The podcast Maintenance Phase did an excellent episode on Jamie Oliver, where they talk about all the faulty assumptions behind his school meals ideas and the manipulative editing in his shows.

By the sounds of things, ballboying Masterchef is when Gregg Wallace shows you his balls

I'm one of those rare Reverse Picky Eaters, I can't deal with food that has no or barely any vegetables or that's just cheese and oil. I can't really do mac and cheese or lasagna, not really crazy about chicken nugs, huge pizza snob, can't really touch big fast food burgers unless I can get them to put extra greens. I think my dad successfully managed to psyops me into thinking that McDonalds is about as bad as drinking PCB directly out of the transformer

What I can't forgive Jamie Oliver for is his moral crusade against soft drinks. Basically every single British soft drink tastes AWFUL now because of him. My local big co-op sells imported American soft drinks and its ridiculous how much better they are.
