Also re: Nate’s pebbledash chat, i grew up in a pebbledash house and it didn’t occur to me that it was bleak until I’d been at uni for a while and saw really middle/upper-middle class people’s houses, I think you just think of it as home and what you have to compare it to are people from a similar background anyway so you don’t think much about it
