2023-06-29 14:03:17 +0000 UTCThe guy saying "access to a car" could also be taking into account the recent surge in car rental subscriptions where you don't lease a single vehicle, but get a nominally cheaper, much worse and more controlled deal on being able to use cars branded by the service provider when one is available nearby. Like with the e-scooters, as in one of the e-scooter rentlords here in Sweden has expanded into doing that as well. It seems like something that article writer would think is a really cool and good thing, anyway
