We read Starmer's Vichy France pamphlet "The Road Ahead" about how he's bounced back and he's a serious politician now, because he has written a 11,500 word essay of inadequate plans.

I think he just kind of watched Bitter Lake on 1.5 speed and decided that that'd be enough to sooth the big mean scary "left". Like - "Ah bugger, what do Corbynites like? ... Hmm, oh, Adam Curtis."
