Another sneak peek at a remastered image- plus early access to my new website

As a thank you to those of you that have supported me by becoming patrons- I wanted to give you early access to my website. You can check out all the images I remastered for this launch, and get in early if you wanted prints for yourself.

This image is my launch image for the website because of what it represents. It was captured over 2 years ago, and is the image that changed my life. It went viral, and turned my hobby instagram account into one that suddenly began getting a lot of attention. Two years later, I made the choice to make astrophotography my career. It all started with a moon pic that I spent a ridiculous amount of time and energy to create. That taught me that sometimes its unclear why a difficult task is worth doing until you look back on it.

This image was completely remastered, as the stars were completely redone to give them a more natural look and feel (both star shape and distribution were fixed) and the moon's libration was corrected in the "shadowed" side of the moon. The faint glow around the moon had some banding removed, so the image should look better both in print and on a monitor.

A quick note about the website- every image (both timed editions and open editions) are remastered from images you've seen before on my page. The biggest change to those that may have hesitated to buy my work in the past, is during this limited edition run, I will be offering free shipping on all prints worldwide. That was never possible in the past due to costs of logistics, but I am able to do it now.

Your opinions mean a lot to me. If you have any feedback about the website, I would love to hear it. A good successful launch is key to being able to sustain this as a career, so I appreciate anything you may have to say.

Thank you so much for your support thus far, I couldn't have done it without you.

I’ll measure and find out. Should probably add to the item description too, so thanks for the idea!

How big are the framed versions for a 12x12 or 24x24?

Moo

The site looks great so far. Good luck with the launch. Cheers from Marc.
