I processed this using imppg, pixinsight, topaz, and photoshop. To get the color I processed the image 3 times, slightly different each time, and blended as rgb channels. This is why the outside is different from the inside. You could also get color by downloading datasets in different wavelengths as your different channels.

Hi Andrew love this pic, I would like to do a print out for my self from scratch including the processing. So a couple of questions: which soft do you use to edit ? In cases of image like thisone you use a hole set taken at the same time to achieve the color ? The outer ring you process it differently ? And last one , if I do it my self I will get a more detailed image or this is the limit with the nasa pictures?
