Taking Requests!

Hey Patrons,

Your support is invaluable to me, and I want to make sure that I continue to produce content that you enjoy! For that reason, I want to ask for any requests for deep-sky objects you would like me to shoot this weekend. I will be headed to the desert, and will have access to clear, dark skies (unlike my cloudy, bright city skies I usually work out of).

Please leave a comment with a suggestion for a deep space object. If someone already suggested what you want to see, "like" that comment so I can see what is most popular, as I will probably not be able to do everything on the trip (but what I can't get to, I will prioritize when I return).

I don't have visibility into everything, as I will be at around 34 degrees latitude. Southern Hemisphere targets and winter targets will not be possible. If you are curious what is visible from my location, download an app like Sky Safari, and simply put Los Angeles as the viewing location, you will see what is visible from that location throughout the night.

Deep sky objects (DSOs) are faint, which is why this is the best opportunity to view them. Objects like the moon, sun, or planets are unaffected by city lights.
