He calls Twilight to get his bearings, but Twilight is too busy smooching Rarity to answer. Spike then considers if he should go after Rarity or Applejack, but heard footsteps and the voice of Carrot approaching, forcing him to decide and choose between AJ/Rarity. It will be a good way to end the scene and offer Spike a choice for the next mare.
