I’m creating an XCOM 2 mod called Advent Angels. (Edit: You can find it at Advent Angels - Steam Workshop) It’s a fun mix between an action/comedy fanservice anime theme and the XCOM universe. The mod reimagines much of the Advent and Alien forces as an all-female crew, giving familiar enemies a flashy new look with fanservice flair and personality.

Here's how the mod will be structured between the Steam Workshop & Patreon:

• The Steam Workshop (SFW) version will be freely available.

• The Patreon (NSFW) version will be paid content and include mature content.

Right now:

• The first unit family is finished: the Archons. This family already has six different variants edited by me, based on various variants of the SFW model created by Kexx and edited by many, with the NSFW variant originating as a variant made by Moomany.

• I’ve started commissioning the first fully custom model, the Advent Stunlancer, which will launch the next family.

• Once that’s ready, you'll get the initial release while I continue commissioning the build out of the remaining models.

The full project will eventually feature ten families of units, each with their own set of variants. The number of variants in each family isn’t fixed — some may have just a couple, while others (like the Archons) will have several.

From there, I’ll continue adding models until all ten are complete.

If you’re interested in helping out with variant creation, your contributions could directly shape how diverse and fun each family becomes.

Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek at the Archon families' units. These will be included in the first release of the mod, alongside the first fully-custom model.

Note: All versions shown are a combination of their original author's mesh and my modified, larger version of Kexx's SFW mesh. The SFW Seraphim & Valkyrie shown here are minimally modified compared to their original meshes, with their Patreon versions being more noticeably modified.

How content works should have worked here

👉 Important note: this Patreon does not use subscriptions for rewards.

• All content is released as one-time purchases.

• When you buy, you’ll get permanent access to download the mod files.

• All future updates to that mod are included under the same purchase — so you only need to buy once to get the full set as it evolves.

This way, you can jump in early, enjoy updates as they come out, and know you’ll never miss anything for sticking around.

Bafflingly, Patreon has shadow-disabled by default the shop of all 18+ creators, only rolling it out to a small selection of such creators. This means I am arbitrarily restricted from offering you permanent ownership of my content, as it actually blocks my privilege to put purchase prices on my posts, relegating my customers to a subscription-only platform for "purchasing" my content. Unfortunately, I cannot find an alternate platform at this time that is 18+ friendly, and the only practical choice is Patreon. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I'll list my subscription at the purchase price and, if you need to re-download it - such as for a free upgrade - after your subscription has been cancelled, please message me but it must be a Patreon message and it must come from the Patreon account you subscribed from so that I can verify it, no exceptions. Hopefully Patreon adds my account to their beggar's list so that you all can get access to permanent ownership as soon possible.
