Sugarplum Updates: New build for paid members + first in-person playtest!

I have amazing news: After several months of toil and trouble, the latest version of Sugarplum Cafe is playable for all paid members! There's around three hours of content in this one.

I've had many doubts while working on this over the past few years, being the perfectionist that I am, but while playing it a couple weeks ago I found myself thinking for the first time, "Huh. It's coming together actually..."

So I'm really excited for y'all to play this new version, because I think it finally ties together all the various ideas I've had throughout the previous versions. I hope you feel the same way.

Please comment below if you're interested in playing it and include an email that I can send a Google Drive link to. You can also DM me if you'd prefer to keep your email private. This build is only playable on Windows atm, sorry to Mac and mobile players...one day I will make it work!

If you can, please record your playthrough (no audio necessary) so if it crashes, it will be easier for me to fix those bugs. On Windows 10 and up, pressing Windows key + G should launch the ability to screen record. And of course, any honest feedback is appreciated whether you message me directly or I can send you a survey to fill out anonymously. Whatever works!

In other news, I also got an exciting opportunity to have an in-person playtest of Sugarplum Cafe at Ursa Major in San Francisco! Ursa Major is a convention dedicated to Japanese fashion, primarily lolita and similar styles. I'm really grateful for this opportunity as the lolita community feels like a perfect target audience for this type of game, what with tea parties and frilly fashion and all. So I will let you know how this goes in next month's post!
