Commission WIP: Princess Serenity (Part 1)

I'm not actively advertising commissions at the moment, but occasionally someone slides into my DMs and asks me to draw something very much up my alley. In this case someone asked me to draw Sailor Moon fanart, and how could I say no?
She requested Princess Serenity at the Moon Castle, looking over the Planet Earth. Started with some very rough sketching...
Then I fleshed out the sketch much more. When I'm about to line my work, I like my sketch to be pretty close to the final lineart so I don't have to do any guesswork.
Here's the final lineart below! Well, mostly final. I may play around with line widths and stuff, and try to capture the essence of the original sketch better.
It's been quite a few months since I started this, haha. I'm taking my time with this commission as the client didn't have a specific deadline in mind, so I'm prioritizing Sugarplum but still trying to make some progress every month. I'll share some more progress next month!
