Which redesign for Sayaka?

I have a confession...I don't love Sayaka's original design, so I was thinking of a redesign that could still convey her themes but would look totally different. But I'm not sure if it's the right choice, so I want to let you guys decide.
To be clear, none of these would be the actual fashion design (the look that is eventually on the right) - I have a different look nailed down for that, which you've probably seen in a previous post.
- Left: It's inspired by her knightly storyline in the story, so it's a little more military than her original outfit (which is what I didn't love about the original, it felt too revealing for her character?), way more Utena-esque. Part of me worries that it's too different to be seen as a redesign, but this is how I would personally design her character from scratch.
- Middle: Same as left, but the skirt matches the top to be more cohesive.
- Right: This one is closest to the original with a few minor changes.
