Sneak Peek: Witch of the West, Witch of the North
Added 2021-03-21 18:12:20 +0000 UTC2 down, 2 to go! Changes made (changelog, if you will):
- West Witch: Face and proportions updated, braid is heftier, hat brim perspective is fixed, and broom is rotated so it'll be more visible on the card.
- North Witch: Face and proportions changed, colors shifted to brighter and more saturated.
With these redraws I'm trying not to deviate from the original designs too much - I normally hate my old designs, but I actually quite like these still. My goal is to update the art to reflect my new art style.
It was great too because I could reuse a lot of the old coloring layers from the old work, like the North Witch's pattern is the exact same as the original with just a little retouching - made my life so much easier!
I didn't really expect to have to fix the proportions so much, seeing how my proportions changed was surprising! I guess my heads got bigger.
The other two have more complicated looks so I'm praying I'll get them redrawn on time ๐
