Oops I missed the May update... (June Update!!)

My bad, I completely missed the May update post! If you have been following my streams/twitter you will know that last month was a very busy for me outside of YouTube. I was the best man at a wedding so had to do everything that entails including organizing the stag do, meaning I was a bit rushed off my feet- kind of surprising I managed to create that Super Auto Pets bonus video thinking about it...! I also had some Paddy issues and had to rush him to the emergency vet, don't worry he is back to normal now. Thank you to AshtoinePH on Discord for the art for this post btw!

Anyway, it is now June, which means us Brits can officially complain about the lack of sunshine at the moment! I hope you've all been enjoying the content recently, I've been trying to mix long term series with new and interesting indie games I've found. I've also stepped back from editing videos, at least last month (since I was very busy) and I've found that I have more time to put into each video-  which hopefully means better content? I'll probably go back to editing some videos myself now, but I can't say I missed the editing process too much- particularly considering the quality my editing team have been producing recently. To say I'm super impressed with their skill and ability is a massive understatement!

In other news I received the gold play button for hitting a million subs! The bad news is I haven't taken it out the box yet as I just haven't had the time... I know, shocking behavior!!! Thanks to Patreon support, I was also able to purchase an additional one for Schmichael too- you wouldn't believe me if I told you how much they cost once you include shipping and taxes so I really appreciate the amount of support I have on here to be able to reward Schmike for his help (hint: it starts with a 7.......) I did offer my other editors them too (reluctantly lol) but as they hadn't been with the channel as long as Schmike they didn't feel like they wanted one.

In terms of people that have merch, I have just uploaded the second design that will be for 6 months of support- there'll be a post about this soon. It's a bit of a different design, but I think you'll all like it.

I wasn't going to mention this, but since you guys are my closest fans, I wanted to tell you that one of my life goals has now been completed- I have been able to financially look after the person that single handedly raised me, my Mum, and it's all thanks to YouTube and of course with the help of you guys too. She is 70, and has worked all of here life (except when pregnant with me) since she was 14 and due to various life events and unfortunate circumstances, she was still working full time at a very physically demanding job of a chef as she was unable to retire. My last five years of engineering I had been trying to save enough money to not only think about my future, but to help her out and get her to reduce her work load as I believe no one should still be working, let alone doing a job like that, at 70 years old... Thankfully due to the success of my channel I have been able to give her a job that requires zero physical demand on her body and is much more suited to someone of her age, so welcome my Mum to the RCE team! As most of you can imagine, I am so eternally grateful to everyone that has supported the channel to be able to support my mum- so from the bottom of my heart, thank you so so much.
