In this scenario however, the genie is the poor sucker who will spend the rest of her life regretting her very existence which is now to be spent as a pair of underwear for one nasty, sadistic Pirate named Risky Boots.
I can’t thank the commissioner enough for letting me extend this due date! I made sure to make it worth the wait! Also I’m aware that the shadows in panels 1 and 2 don’t make a lot of sense but who can resist a well placed giantess shadow? Am I right?
Also I included two versions of this piece. One of them has a shine effect and the other doesn’t. I personally can’t tell which way looks better so I want you to tell me so I can plan new comics with your input in mind!

You don’t have to conform to the rules if you are doing a great job already, heck you’ve put out so many good pieces already, I only commented on this one because you asked a question and posted two variants that you couldn’t tell apart which was best. You’re already doing a great job.

I’m actually pretty good at forming light source perspectives in my own personal art but in these comics I just like to do whatever is the most aesthetically pleasing. Even if it doesn’t follow the art rules. Although I really should start following those rules if I want to keep improving the quality of my work!

2021-03-22 18:48:40 +0000 UTCThe glare or shine effect one looks worse when put side by side because you’ve got glare from every angle whereas the shadows conform to the light source in the comic...I hope that makes sense XD
