I've NEVER read the original children's novel, so enjoy my "anime only" perspective as we follow the life of Anne Shirley. I daresay I've already fallen under the MC's spell... seriously, what a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I gave this show a chance.
What did y'all think of this premiere? Have you seen the original 1979 anime? Have you read the children's novel it's based on? Or have you seen the various live action TV/movie adaptations?
