Okay, y'all... this was pure peak, pure cinema, pure QUALITY from the production staff and it blew away all my expectations. I was left speechless, struggling to process what just happened.. Out of everything I've seen thus far, S1 & 1/4 of S2, I don't think Arknights has ever looked better and that makes me so, so happy to see it treated this well.
Plus, Ayahi Takagaki absolutely nailed her performance as FrostNova, it's even making me reevaluate who my favorite character is... the Ice Queen's coming for the Tyrant's spot as Best Girl!

Honestly, Patriot's height has to be like 7 1/2 feet or possibly even 8 feet tall... he's fucking GIGANTIC. I don't know if I should include his horns/antlers in that estimate or not, but he's definitely someone I want to see a whole lot more of as the series progresses! I'm sure other anime only viewers got fed up with Jessica, those types of reactors tend to hate "timid/cowardly" characters as I've mentioned in my discussion. She did her best in those circumstances, even despite her own fear of FrostNova, so she deserves praise for her actions. She didn't abandon anyone by running away and hiding, she actually fought as needed and that's a good step forward for someone like her. We're so blessed that Amiya was able to hold off those shards as long as she did... should've figured they were a type of insta-kill attack based on Meteorite's comment and how condensed the ice was, to the point of changing colors into deep blue / black hue. I'm just glad I was able to easily pick up on the sudden increase in their strength lol

2024-03-14 02:33:20 +0000 UTCLet the wall commence! Just FYI, the "Yeti" name is basically just their squad name, nothing to do with their race, just their affinity to ice, basically. You'll see what the Yeti's actual race is later on. Kjerag is also Switzerland, basically. Pure mountain country. As to where the Yetis and Frostnova are from, you will ALSO learn that later on, no worries =) But yeah, the halfway point battle with Frostnova is what makes this episode the 2nd best, in my own personal opinion.... and the introduction of her father, the other favourite Reunion commander of mine! Absolute gigachad of a leader, but I won't spoil anything about him! In regards to his design, Patriot is also 1 of my favourites, he's literally a giant compared to everyone else, as you saw xD it's quite funny to see, but yeah, love him. But I'm very glad you kept cheering on Jessica, she deserves the praise for helping her team even if she was very scared of Frostnova! Oh yeah, fun fact: the Black Ice that Frostnova summoned, insta kills your operators in the game when you fight her, and she hits them. Very cool attention to detail that they show how dangerous those shards are, as she destroyed a building with a single shard!
