Smol Daida was beyond adorable... the flashback story, when life was happy & simple for the Kingdom of Bosse & its royal family, was too damn precious! I don't think I've ever considered the possibility of Daida (or even Bojji) using magic, so this caught me off guard & makes me wonder if we'll ever fully flesh out the magic system for this world.
Could it be hereditary? Do affinities exist? Can mana capacity expand over time with practice or is it a fixed amount? So many questions I'd love to see answered one day!
100% an episode that's integral to S1's plot, the most important one (so far), since it did flesh out Ann & even gave us a glimpse at Hiling's life before she met Bosse. I'd argue the 1st half storyline should've been included in S1's runtime but not everything can be shown in an adaptation after all.
PS: 3 for 3, Story 2 > Story 1 once again!
