It's Time to Accelerate and New Tier System

It goes without saying that time has passed since our last update, that is between our Patreon community and the Project Team. So much has taken place that I'd like to take this time to address any issues, concerns, and the future of this project for those just joining us.

Let's begin with a thank you to everyone that's supported FreeJack and stuck by us the entire way, despite the hiatus and hiccups we may have encountered, many of you were patient and continued your support. We could not have come this far without your diligence and generosity. I'll expand on this more in a future update to give you an idea just how important your contributions were during our hiatus period. But all in due time.

From this point forward we'll be focusing attention on the community and its discourse with our project team. This means that the Patreon updates moving forward will increase in frequency and become a little more personal, likely in the form of video logs either showcasing unreleased features or talking about the project in general, whether that be milestones, challenges, or conceptual features.

It's also important we address the new tier system. We've simplified the process and activated only one single tier that provides you with unlimited access to the multiplayer game with zero restrictions to play time, unlike the public that need to wait for a public play test when we open the servers. Anyone subscribed will have access to the servers anytime and anywhere, so long as you remain subscribed to the Patreon community.

If you're currently subscribed to one of the older tiers, please cancel that and feel free to switch to the new tier. We'd recommend you do this if you're interested in remaining as a Patron, as the slots are currently limited to 100 active subscriptions due to server restrictions (max capacity) for the current build.

There is much to discuss and a bright and healthy future ahead of us, and I'm very proud of my team and their accomplishments. I'm also proud of the enthusiasm that I see every time I read through our Discord, and it's that type of positive energy that will take this project to the finish line.
