Seriously, all it took was an 1 1/2 episodes to make me enjoy her character so damn much... she's just too damn adorable & hilarious to not feel this passionate about! I'd fight God for her (but that could said for several other characters from this show)!
I do wonder if Shin's descended from Royalty, the similarities are there, but once we learned about Frederica's abilities... well, that blew my mind and gave me Attack on Titan vibes, so I'm very eager to learn more about their race & what the "origin" of their crazy powers may be (if we ever go that route). Moreover, I cannot wait to expand upon Kiriya & the Empire of Giad, now that our group's moving with a purpose after enjoying their peace... though I'm not ready for the inevitable heartbreaking moments!

Fair enough, it's also very possible they could touch more upon the ethnic groups & racial characteristics in another season if it's still relevant but I won't denounce the staff for choosing to prioritize certain story beats over others cause ya can't always adapt everything.

Thanks, I'll avoid the wiki pages for now, don't want to spoil myself but even learning about the ethnic groups, their names, and abilities... that's just straight up cool, love that there's actual powers in this world too

The LN's go into way more world building and background details that really flesh out the world. However, the anime is still a masterpiece and adapted it so well. I don't know how you would add anymore content without missing out on something else. This show is already so good.

For Shin, he’s half Pyrope and Onyx; his ability of telepathy he got from the former on his mothers side, the Maika Clan. Whereas Frederica is fully Pyrope where she has the ability of psychometry. There is a wiki page that’ll give you all the information about the ethnic groups and their abilities but it’s very much spoilers, so I’d avoid it.
