I might sound like a broken record, but seeing Theo contemplate what he said, while overwhelmed by grief, does make me appreciate the character as it shows he's not meant to be "the asshole" of the group, but someone with their own thoughts & opinions about their situation, with their own personality & means of coping with the sudden loss of a beloved comrade. So, in turn, that made the moment where he willingly resigns himself to talking with Lena, revealing the meaning behind his code name & his thoughts on what it means to be comrades, all the more impactful.
I do wonder what role Shin's brother will play going forward, as it seems he doesn't hold the most positive memories about him... so could Lena knowing Shourei cause some friction between them?

Oh, I thought I responded to this comment, but apparently I just forgot to do so, which is my bad... but yeah, definitely was in the same boat about the names, I didn't think much about using their code names vs their real names so that fact it resonated on a personal level really got to me... that was so good!

2023-01-10 22:09:03 +0000 UTCBefore we hop in, about their names and their aliases, i think what hurt ME as i watched the show is that i also didn't think about what their names were. It's more or less the point, but it's done really well, and i appreciate how it shoves it in our faces.
