Uncle from Another World S1 Episode 8 Reaction
Added 2022-12-27 22:30:01 +0000 UTCUNCLE'S FINALLY BACK! I do hope, first & foremost, the whole production team from Studio AtelierPontdarc's alive & well after all the covid outbreaks... I can't even imagine how stressful it must have been, so I don't personally mind the fact we had to wait until the Fall season of anime to continue the series. I do hope, at least, we'll see it air to completion this time though!
Felt so damn nice to (finally) expand upon the previous episode's (painful) cliffhanger revelation about Alicia's title as the "Hero" which, as we found out, was brought about by Uncle's actions earlier on. I'm sure the world of Gran Bahamal's massive, but when these plot lines cross paths & affect each other... that just makes me feel happy, cause it feels like the world doesn't just revolve around one country or a single person. I can't wait to see what'll happen next, such as when the Knight Order (or Ricardo) might seek the help of "Wolfgunblood" or how we'll resolve the sudden dinosaur plot line back in Japan!
On a side note, still very salty with what Netflix's been doing to this series... the fact we're supposed to rely on fansubs to watch anywhere near "on time" & that they've done almost nothing to advertise such an entertaining series is downright criminal. I'd say it's reminiscent of what Disney did with Summertime Rendering, that's how badly Netflix's been screwing up.
