Mio truly deserves freedom & happiness, that which I believe Suletta (Eri) can bring her over time, just have to knock her father down a few pegs first! What did you think of this episode?

I'd definitely enjoy it if they make Guel go that route, he'd be way more interesting and compelling if he got his shit together, got out from underneath his father's thumb, and started being a decent guy. I do hope we see the rules of space change and more rebellions against parental figures, it'd be an interesting direction to go!

2022-10-11 04:54:14 +0000 UTCFeels like they might be setting Guel up to have learned some things from the first episode and be more of an ally or nonantagonistic rival. Mio talking about not just being their father's lapdog who do what they're told seem to really get under his skin and the meeting between him and his father makes me think he may not be as okay with the situation as he let on. There was also him sending his posse to fix things. Guel's pride could be him finding pride in being his own person. I could see rebelling against their parents/authority being a theme they go for. Could also just be his pride in being the best and he continues being a shitbag but that sounds less interesting to me. Guess we'll find out next episode.
