Added 2025-07-19 22:58:15 +0000 UTCAngel got the email that had the link to all the safety videos that she had to watch in order to get the railroad job. We got that taken care of so that now they will probably call her into work sometime next week. I am looking for spots closer to where she will be working and we can place our tent there.
I had a job working for a place that does all of the lindt chocolates. I collapsed at work from exhaustion and my supervisor told me I could go, so naturally I went home for the day. The next day I come into work and they tell me that my supervisor told them I walked off the job. Apparently what she meant when she told me I could go was that I could go to the bathroom. They let me go and I have been unemployed since. I have been putting in applications for work just about anywhere I can think of I haven't had any responses yet. A lot of places aren't keen on hiring homeless people, they want you to have reliable transportation and all that I guess.
Angel has her job though so I am going to do my best to make sure that she is successful and that she gets back and forth to work. Her and her job are a priority for me now. I may be able to find a job somewhere near where she works though and that will help us get off the street. I don't necessarily mind the camping part but Angel hates it. Lol
I will keep you guys posted and if I have any more updates I will let you know. And if you're new here there are image sets and game downloads that you can get by being a patron. I believe the image sensor available to anyone that pledges more than $5 and the game downloads should be available to anybody that pledges $10 or more.
