Our Roadmap of the next few months.

Hey Patrons!

The idea behind this post is to explain what we plan on doing moving forward. This is usually posted in our weekly update, but we feel this is more Patron specific, rather than a public announcement. I’ve broken it up per month to make it clear on when this will happen.

AUGUST (AND FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER)

NotSoQuickie (NSQ) build v0.05 will be released within the next 24 hours from this post. Half the team has been preparing the build for it’s release, whilst the other half has been working on the Quickie.

After the NSQ update release, the full team will continue working on Quickie: Summer Special, which is now a week away and will be released on the 6th/7th of September PST. Unfortunately this means it’ll be a few days later than usual, but we feel it’ll be worth the wait :).

SEPTEMBER

Next month, we’ll be focusing entirely on NSQ, with a NSQ build released when we usually release a Quickie (2nd/3rd of the following month). Before I explain what we plan to have in this build, it’s important to explain how interactions with the girls work:

• Each Quickie girl in NSQ has a relationship rank, represented by hearts, with a maximum of 5 hearts per girl. Each heart is earned by playing through a story moment with a girl. An extra story moment occurs when you first meet (introduction).
• H-Scenes generally occur on the 3rd, 4th and 5th hearts with each girl (may occur sooner with some of the girls). It’s possible to get a still/reveal image for each heart and unlock more H-Scenes from other means.
• If you manage to have the 5th heart for a girl during the final moments of the game, you’ll have the option to marry her.
• It’s possible to lose these hearts (specifically the 4th and 5th heart) if you upset her. However, hearts can be regained through other means.

With that in mind, September’s NSQ build (v0.06) will include the following:

• First iteration of the Love Hotel Management mini-game (more details on this in our v0.05 release post).
• Satomi’s introduction.
• Satomi’s story (hearts 1 and 2, possibly the 3rd if we have time).
• At least one new H-Scene with Satomi.

The goal with v0.06 is to have NSQ ready for a public release. We’re aiming to release a public version the following month (at least 4 weeks after the Patreon release). The public release will have some content locked off which will only be available to Patrons.

We’ll also start polls a month in advance so we can prepare and schedule ourselves accordingly before the month begins. You can vote on what girl we’ll focus on for the following month. More details on polls next month.

OCTOBER 

Last year for October, we had a Halloween special with Reika. We’re thinking for this October, it’ll be nice to do another Quickie Halloween special, but spend the full month working on it (which we haven’t done yet). This Quickie will have more girls (if not all), more H-Scenes and will have a more fictional storyline (the story won’t be canon). We’re also thinking of using it’s public release to help promote the NSQ public release (we’ll have a link to the NSQ public release in the Halloween Special).

Please let us know if you don’t want a Quickie Halloween Special. If enough people are against this, we’ll ditch this idea and continue working on NSQ full time.

NOVEMBER (AND BEYOND)

Similar to September, we’ll work on NSQ for the full month. Each month we’ll focus on one of the girls story (using the poll results from the month prior), aiming to get the introduction (if the introduction hasn’t been done yet) and some story (2-3 hearts) done. We’ll also continue to develop the world (mini-games, protagonist’s story, environments etc).
