White LED Streetlights 4.5

I’m excited to announce the release of the new update for WLS, also known as White LED Streetlights 4.5 BETA 1!

This new update takes your game’s lighting to the next level. But before we dive into the setup, let’s first go over some details about the mod:



What is WLS? 

WLS stands for White LED Streetlights, a lighting overhaul mod designed to enhance your game with dynamic streetlight features.

What is WHITE LED STREETLIGHTS?

White LED Streetlights is a complete lighting overhaul that adds various streetlight options in both low, high, and ultra-quality settings. The mod provides different exterior and inbuilt interior presets tailored for various locations. These presets offer specific lighting colors, including White, Gold, Red, Purple, Green, Blue, Cyan, Orange, and more. The Black color is an experimental feature designed to enhance FPS. All colors are optional except for white.

What do LDSRL, HDSRL, and UDSRL mean?

LDSRL (Low Dynamic Spot Range Lights): The lowest quality lighting rendering distance in WLS.

HDSRL (High Dynamic Spot Range Lights): The highest quality lighting rendering distance in WLS.

UDSRL (Ultra Dynamic Spot Range Lights): The ultra-quality lighting rendering distance in WLS.

How far can LDSRL, HDSRL, and UDSRL improve lighting?

LDSRL: Can render lighting up to 50 meters.

HDSRL: Can render lighting up to 200 meters.

UDSRL: Can render lighting up to 600 meters and beyond.

What is HDVRL and what does it do?

HDVRL (High Dynamic Volumetric Range Lighting) is a lighting technique built into Exterior Preset 1 and Exterior Preset 2. It enhances the volumetric lighting effects in the game, making weather conditions such as fog, rain, thunderstorms, and more visually stunning. Specifically, HDVRL improves the lighting in the following weather scenarios:

• Foggy

• Rainy

• Thunderstorm

• Blizzard

• Christmas

• Halloween

• Snowy

• Smog

This feature creates a more immersive and atmospheric experience by improving how light interacts with particles and weather effects in the environment.

NEW UDVRL an Ultra Dynamic Volumetric Range Lighting Technique is an optional feature.

What are the Exterior Presets?

Exterior Preset 1: Focuses on shadow, lighting, color enhancement, and FPS optimizations.

Exterior Preset 2: Improves visuals with enhanced indirect colors, shadows, and high dynamic volumetric lighting (HDVRL), as well as high dynamic shadows (HDSHS).


WLS 4.5 Features:

COLORS:

Main Colors: Added White Cold and Warm Tints. Cold Tint is available for some colors in the Experimental Color Installers.

Experimental (Optional) Colors List:

• Blue (with Warm and Cold Tints)

• Cyan and Dark Cyan

• Gold (with Warm and Cold Tints)

• Green and Lime (Bright Green Tint and Dark Lime Tint with smooth lighting)

• Red and Maroon

• Pink (with Warm and Cold Tints)

• Purple

FANTASY COLORS:

This optional setting enables various colors simultaneously, including :

• Red

• Yellow

• Green

• Blue

• Pink and more.

HIGH-QUALITY AIRLIGHTS:

Highest quality lighting rendering, including long-distance shadow casting and ultra-quality volumetric lighting in various weather conditions such as:

• fog

• rain

• thunderstorms

• blizzards and more.

New Airlight models and colors have been modified to improve lighting brightness and visuals.

NEON LIGHTING:

Based on the Christmas LED Streetlights mod, this feature adds various neon LED props and lighting to the game, such as:

• Neon Trams

• Neon Lighting Streets

• Neon Trees and more!

UDVRL (Ultra Dynamic Volumetric Range Lighting):

An advanced version of HDVRL, UDVRL adds ultra-quality volumetric lighting to your light sources.

DARK LIGHTS:

This is a work-in-progress feature that disables all light sources in the game to improve FPS, essentially serving as an ultra-FPS booster.
