To help ease their burdens, a factory on the outskirts of the city harvests the body parts of the unclaimed dead, casualties of accidents, disasters and war, and uses them to build a legion of undead to be used as manual labourers, clerical staff and domestic servants. Though trained as a housekeeper, this one is kept more like a pet by her master, who dresses her in lacy things and parades her in front of his friends. Intelligent and skilled for her designation, her training sees little use. Here is our fifth ghoulish girl - the zombie, Scarlett!
