Added 2020-08-04 04:54:36 +0000 UTCHey everyone! the Con-Quest 0.12 Beta 3 test is now out for all patrons.
Changes:
Camo's quest-line has been updated and massively fleshed out.
(Players loading a completed save from 0.12 Beta 2 will be on the quest to beat Camo for the first time)
3 New spells have been added.
Along with a new combo point system.
Normal attacks now generate combo points which can be used with one of the new spells to restore your MP.
The new version of random encounters is ready for testing
Random encounters will now show up in certain rooms.
Two will be available right after the player completes the intro and the other two will unlock as you complete Camo's quest-line.
Their size is based on the level difference between the player and themselves and their rarity dictates their color.
There are 4 rarities of random encounter.
- Common(Dark purple)
- Uncommon(pink)
- Rare(blue)
- Ultra Rare (gold)
Each fight you win in a room will increase the odds of an ultra rare cosplayer to spawn.
Leaving the room will reset your victory combo.
After the intro you can enter the dumpster, inside you can view figurines which are dropped by ultra rare cosplayers.
(clicking on them will trigger a reward scene)
In this test Jolie, Eva , Mara and Cassandra are obtainable.
50+ new sounds have also been added.
$10+ versions now have topples emotes for Camo and Vanilla. Faye will be shown in her underwear. (These rewards can be toggled off in the menu)
on the art side of things we have a brand new cosplayer in the works. And are working hard at finishing all the CGs we have planned.

It really seems like there's a bug with the way exp and money is gained after a fight. The results screen will say you gained ~30 gold for winning, but you only actually get 2 or 3. Same with EXP.

2020-08-18 06:13:30 +0000 UTCYa the difficulty and repetition is a bit much. Or the RNG sucks for me. I feel like I've been grinding just 1 spot for nearly an hour after beating the game, and the only golds I came across are just too strong since I'm always missing 1/4th-half my help trying to keep streak going. Without any items or ways to boost defense, you just get slapped across the face and exp is a joke when you're only getting 1-2 out of 900 needed.

2020-08-04 21:48:23 +0000 UTCDifficulty is too high. I can't seem to actually get experience after level 4. And enemies can easily hit me for over 40 damage a turn. Meanwhile I am struggling to manage mp and have no way to heal other than a weak regen from grass. And at the same time I am expected to win multiple battles in a row. If you get rid of whatever ruins gaining exp it might be fine.
