Spark & Stone - Ask Me Anything

Hey guys,

I hope you had a lot of fun with the epilogue of the story! I can't thank you enough for all your support and helping me bring this story to light. Aidan and Heath are surely more than happy that they got their HEA, but now it's the time for me to bring you the AMA.

In case you don't know what this is all about, it's a section where you can basically ask me anything about the story. Anything goes, and I would be happy to answer your questions.

Also, this is an opportunity for me to ask for your suggestions regarding the bonus story for Aidan and Heath. Should you not want to do this here, in the comment section, just feel free to send me a private message. I will surely try to include all your requests.

Michael and Jess will get their story, which will start next Thursday and will have several chapters, and that will be what I call the sideline story.

That's about it, as I don't want to make this longer than Aidan's and Heath's storyline :)

Spark & Stone will be available as a book sometime next month, while I'm having the cover done and the last corrections to the text. I also hope to have the bonus story ready, by that time, too.

By the end of this month, I also hope to have ready a surprise for you all, in the shape of a completely new gift book, something I have been working on for a while, and of course, I hope you'll enjoy it. Until then, my lips are sealed, but I just want to add that it was written as a summer love story, and somehow grew into a bit more.

Many hugs and kisses,

Love you all,

Laura.

Yes, the boss owned the company, to answer your question first. I thought of Aidan being sent to deal with Heath because he was the youngest and among the newest employees. I didn't think of a conversation about that, I admit it, but I just thought it as a way for the secretly homophobe boss to deal with Heath but without him or some employee close to him getting too close for fear of becoming 'tainted'. Aidan as a new employee is seen as disposable, and that's the idea I had. Thank you for all your questions, and, for anything else, don't hesitate! (Just be aware that if you reply to an existing reply and I reply on the longer thread, too, the system might fail to inform you about it. Unfortunately, communication features are really iffy here).

I think Heath will continue to be the face of their company, but without the scandals and appearances in tabloids and the like. He should grow up as a celebrity, too :)

Did you consider including a conversation between Aidan and Heath about why Aidan was chosen to be Heath’s company liaison? I can’t remember if I asked this before, but was Aidan’s boss also the owner of the company? Was Aidan sent because he “looked” gay and would entice Heath, or because no one else wanted to have to deal with Heath?

Will Heath become even more of a celebrity, or will their company take a direction that leads to a more behind-the-scenes lifestyle?
