bare; a skintone pack

there are so many creators out there who make such beautiful cc skintones, but i’ve wanted to make my own so i gave it a try! this took me 2 months because i had zero idea and had to take multiple breaks from the frustration ;-; i was wrapping them up when ea announced they were fixing their skintones but people still wanted them dfkjghf anyway, here they are! if there are any inconsistencies with the swatches, just know that i tried my best (｡╯︵╰｡) 

• nondefault skintones (does not replace ea skintones)
• 4 undertones: neutral, cool, warm, olive
• 25 swatches per undertone, 100 swatches total
• has normal / tanned / burned states
• enabled for aliens, vampires, mermaids, spellcasters
• 2 versions: per undertone & genetic (09.23.2020)

important details:

• order of the swatches in-game: cool > neutral > warm > olive
• wickedwhims compatible! thank you so much @fiona-john (tumblr) for informing me!
• someone brought up before how unfair it was that the darker ea skintones has a much lower makeup opacity than the lighter skintones. i tried bumping the opacity up for every skintone to the max, but it was too vibrant and does not work very well. each skintone has been adjusted accordingly! feel free to change it using Cmar’s ts4 skininator!
• tanned and burned states were created using Cmar’s ts4 skin converter! if there are any issues, please message me!
• added a slight tint to the lips! used @pyxiidis‘s stuck on you skintone #12 as base for the skintones since it had a lip color that i really liked

UPDATE (09.23.2020):

2 versions: per undertone / genetic (you can’t put in both)

• per undertone — the current arrangement. doesn’t work accurately in terms of genetics! choose this if you just want a more ‘organized’ arrangement!
• genetic — will be merged with ea skintones and is accurate in terms of genetics (offsprings can have an ea skintone)! unfortunately, offsprings can also have a random undertone. choose this if genetics are a priority for you! (will have “[genetic]” in the filename!

UPDATE (12.09.2020):

fix for the december skintone update

• bare skintones will now appear on the new skintone menu!
• olive swatches will be found in the neutral section (along with the neutral)!

UPDATE (01.05.2021):

• fixed the sorting order of genetic version! the order of the ea swatches are frustratingly inconsistent, so I tried my best!
• skintone slider now working!
• disabled on aliens (requested)
• NEW: pale skintone options — first swatches of all categories in both genetic & per undertone version will have a longer slider range to the right to achieve lighter shades
