I've long felt constrained by the Youtube algorithm, which forces me to keep my attention on projects that are more likely to be recommended. Unfortunately, this has been the enemy of variety, making it difficult to invest time into more diverse series or experimental videos. Starting a Patreon isn't really about money, but the freedom provided by softening my dependence on Youtube.
Right now, the only reward is your name featured at the end of each video at $5. However, as I familiarize myself with the platform, I'll be looking into other ways to reward subscribers, such as verbal shout-outs, previews of planned or upcoming projects, behind-the-scenes videos, etc.
I am deeply thankful for any support, as this channel's growth and success has always been dependent on the awesome community that has been built around it!
