PSA for Apple/iOS Users

Not sure if emails like this has been sent to patrons like you all yet but Patreon just sent out emails to creators about Apple forcing Patreon's iOS app to use their in-app purchasing system and removing all other billing systems, making new memberships past November 2024 subject to a 30% app store fee.
The gif below from the email illustrates how pledges will look after the change.
I'm perfectly ok taking the 30% hit myself though I still encourage any patrons using Apple's in-app purchasing system to pledge via a PC browser so I can avoid this.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the other part of the email that said all creators will have to move to subscription billing, again to be compliant with Apple's bullshit, which means patrons will pay on the day they subbed a month/year later instead of on the first of the month. There's not really a best time to implement that so I will toggle that to be on today (8/12) to avoid thinking about it again in the future.
