Lil' Life Update

Hey Patrons!

Sorry it's been a bit since I've posted here. I just quickly wanted to update you all on what's been going on, how I've been doing, etc.

As most of you know, I started a new full-time job on February 2nd working for a social media start-up called Oooh! As you can imagine, that's made life very busy for me these past couple months. Work is going really well. I love my co-workers, I work remotely from home, the work is fun -- there's a lot I really like about the job. 

However, because it's 40 hours a week, it's definitely been a huge adjustment for me. I've admittedly struggled with being able to give my proper time / effort / attention to you Patrons, the Minecraft servers, content creation (YT vids, etc), and even streams. I know I shouldn't feel bad about this, but I do. One thing I know about myself is that I take a long time to adjust to change. I've always been that way, and this current situation is no different. I know I'll figure it all out in the end, but for now, writing this post makes me feel slightly better knowing I've shared my shortcomings with all of you in hopes of receiving your grace and forgiveness.

This may all sound dark and dreary, but I haven't "disappeared" by any means. I try to still be as active as I can in the Discord. I'm trying to be better about my new stream schedule. It'll all just take time, and that's on me.

On top of all this, my wife and I will be moving into a new rental house during the month of May. So content / interaction from me may suffer a bit more then as well (hopefully not tho). However, once we get set up and settled into the new house you can rest assured knowing I'll be back at it! I'd love to try and organize another Patreon Zoom party this summer sometime, those are always super fun!

Anyways, I just kinda felt like I wanted to write up a post for you all and thank you for your continued support. My job with Oooh is helping to pay the bills, but it doesn't cover everything, and with a move coming up I just want to thank you all for your monthly pledges here. My hope long-term is to eventually be able to maybe hire a video editor with the income I make through Twitch subs and Patreon so that I can get more YouTube content out. That's a long way off still, but that's an idea I have.
