September Update!

Happy September! Ok, I know it's the 8th already, but still I wanted to wish you a Happy September anyway! I also hope you had a great Labor Day weekend this past weekend. If you're not in America then ignore that 😂 Anyway, I've got loads of updates for you guys, so if you have the time I'd greatly appreciate it if you could read through this (especially since a lot of it deals with some fun server events and things coming up that I'd like to do with you all) as well as some new server rules and guidelines.
General Life Update
So real quick, I just wanted to open up a little about me. I'm sure some of you have noticed, but the past 4-6 weeks my video production on YouTube, as well as Livestream frequency, has slowed down a bit. I'm well aware, obviously haha. But I just wanted to address it as I don't want anyone to be worried. So yeah, the past 4-6 weeks for some unknown reason I've been really struggling with staying motivated. I think I just needed a bit of a break after going so hard since March, mostly with the Legacy series. I'm probably a bit burned out right now and am just trying to take the time needed to get back to "high production mode." That's not what I actually call it, but that's what I'm gonna call it in this Patreon Post 😂
It's weird tho, cause as a creator I've gone through this before. I don't always know what causes it, or how to overcome it...but what I do know is that it always passes and I always return to my super motivated state. I think another thing that's affecting me is the Covid situation. I mean it hasn't directly affected me much at all, but what I kinda realized was since it began in March I've just been at my desk non-stop pretty much all day every day. Recently I've been enjoying some time away from my computer doing other things which has helped. Needless to say, I've still tried to hit one upload a week and have tried to still stream once a week for you guys, but I'd like to try and ramp that up a bit this fall. Strategically of course...I don't wanna burn out again haha.
As always tho, thank you all so much for continuing to support me here through Patreon! Knowing you guys have my back financially makes my life so much easier when it comes to spending the time needed to make a great video!
Patreon Server Events!
So last month in August we did a Nether Portal decoration event which we basically did over the course of a weekend, but it was SUPER fun! I'd love to do more things like that with you guys!
This month I'd really like to film a proper server tour video, but to do that I need your guys' help! In order for me to film a proper tour, I need information from each of you so that I can be super efficient with my time filming.
⭐ For Patrons at the Pro Level or above, if you currently have access to the server AND you'd like to have a chance at something you built be showcased in my first server tour video, then please fill out the form below!
🎮 In general server news, I'd like to try to get the server updated to version 1.16.2 soon. Also some of you have asked me if I'd be willing to add the Mini-Blocks and Silence Mobs datapacks, so I'll be speaking with Skynode very soon to see if we can get those added as I think they'd be nice additions to our server 😊
🔨 OMBoss reached out to me and let me know that he'd like to build a train/roller coaster around the shopping district, taiga town, 14th colony, and some other areas around there. He said he needs loads of rails (regular and powered). He can supply the iron, as well as some of the gold for those, but needs help with some other materials such as wood, glass, etc. If you're interested in helping, he could use some extra hands as well so please reach out to him on the server if you see him on. I hope some of you will be willing to help as I think this project could turn out amazing!
🏆 I haven't given too much overall thought to this yet, but I do think it'd be really cool if we had a "Mini-Games" district. Getting a Spleef arena setup could be really cool too, and maybe next month we could do a little Spleef Tournament in October for any of the Patrons that want to join/sign up!
Server Theft & Griefing
As some of you may know, we've had some incidents of theft and griefing on the server lately. I say "lately" as in the past few weeks. I'd first like to say that I have basically zero tolerance for this sort of thing. My hope is that whoever is doing these things will immediately cease doing them. Thankfully nothing major has happened, but one incident is one too many in my book. I don't think I need to remind you that you guys are paying to have access to this server. I would certainly hope that no member of my community would spend money to ruin a good experience for someone else. Rest assured tho, I am taking this very seriously as well as my mod team. Last week I removed some people from the whitelist who were no longer paying, active patrons, so there's a chance the theft culprit was one of those folks.
Going forward, if you log on and you find that something you built has been changed, destroyed, etc. OR if something has been stolen, please do the following:
1. Reach out to myself or a moderator immediately.
2. Be as descriptive as you can. Let us know when you were on last, when you noticed something was wrong, etc.
3. Provide the coordinates of where this issue is
4. Provide screenshots so we can see what you're talking about
I can say with almost 100% certainty that whoever is doing these things will be caught.
The problem is, each time something like this comes up I have to deal with it and that's highly annoying for me because instead of spending my time making more content for you guys, I'm spending my time playing detective trying to figure out what's going on. So with that being said, I'd like to introduce some new rules / guidelines for our server going forward:
