Nether Portal Decoration Event DETAILS & 2nd World Download!

Hey everyone!

Last week I posted a poll asking for you guys to vote on what day would work best to do a server-wide "Nether Portal Decoration" event. Well, the results are in and I've gotta say I was surprised to see how close it was! Sunday, August 9 won out with 50% of the vote, but Saturday, August 8 was right behind it with 45%! Seeing how close these 2 dates are, I think it may be kinda fun to make it a combo Saturday/Sunday event! I'll stream from the server on Sunday, as that's the day that won the vote, but I think it might be fun to still technically have the event take place on both days 😊 I'll outline the details below.

What: Server-wide Nether Portal Decoration event
When: August 8 & 9
Chim's Stream: Sunday, August 9 (Not sure the exact time yet)
Details: During these two days, we'll be decorating our individual nether portals in the Nether! You can decorate your portals in the overworld too if you want, but for this event we'll be focusing on the Nether. Once complete, it'll make our "Nether Hub" on the bedrock roof look even more epic! If you can't make it, no worries at all, you can decorate your portal whenever you feel like it.

❗❗❗ IMPORTANT: Please mob proof your builds!!! This means every full block that's exposed should be covered with things like carpet, string, slabs, etc. That includes the top of your portals inside the nether too, if they're exposed. The last thing we want is to have Ghasts spawning on our nether roof, shooting at us and destroying our builds. Thank you!

2nd World Download

One of the perks for the $10/mo Pro tier and above is access to my World Downloads! This one isn't all too exciting, but was still one that I wanted to share.

Last week I released a video showing off 20 Hidden Chest & Barrel Designs in Minecraft. Two weeks ago I released a video titled 25 Simple and Creative Storage Designs in Minecraft. Both of these videos took place in the same superflat world, and at the end of my hidden chest designs video last week I mentioned I'd be releasing the download exclusively for you guys here on Patreon!

Again, I know it's not much...it's just a superflat world so it's not all too exciting, but I still wanted to upload it for you guys! Hopefully I can begin designing some more interesting builds soon that will make for more exciting world downloads in the near future.
