My Weirdest Commission So Far - Cleveland Show Epic Theme
Added 2021-02-12 23:20:55 +0000 UTCSo a couple of months ago this random guy asked in a server if someone was up for a challenge, and that it was paid, curious me said sure what could go wrong... and then he told me how he wanted an epic version of the cleveland shot theme .-.
Turns out he's a voice actor and does playthroughs of various games. He already had a Fallout 4 run and he plans on doing a skyrim run soon so he wanted some original music for it. I'm not gonna lie this is one of the few commissions I wasn't sure about, really though I wasn't going to be able to pull it off.
Coming up with a solution took me a couple of weeks actually but ultimately I decided to go with a Skyrim X Cleveland kinda thing so here's the result.
This track won't see the light for at least one month since he's still preparing all the details for the run.
I'm very proud of it! It really challenged me and my programming skills and figuring out the percussion was probably the hardest bit of it (sounds too Haloey imo) I was also able to try my new woodwinds library and they are amazing! Super easy to use and a clean sound out of the box. Mixing them is so much easier too, but trying to fake that big hall sound was tricky. One of my favorite commissions so far.
