A new journey
Added 2023-09-29 15:48:37 +0000 UTCMikazuki started in 2014 while i was in college during a late night rant with a russian friend of mine, i was upset i couldn’t find any nice Haku-like(vocaloid, if you know, you know) outfit for my avatar, and i was told i should try making one myself, and… I did just that.
From 2014 to 2019 i worked as a full time content creator on second life, and that was essentially one of the most fulfilling stages of my life, i worked 50% more hours than in a regular full time job on top of attending college, and during several months i struggled financially to make ends meet, but i was happy, i was proud of my work, i went to bed thinking about what i would work on the next day.
At the end of 2022 I made a new year's resolution to start creating content once more, and that was one of the best decisions I ever made. I initially thought I would not be able to keep up 1 pose a day on top of my full time job, personal life and RP hobbies but i'd say i've made that work. And since august i got myself a Maya license and got back to work on outfits.
While learning the ins and outs of the new workflow i managed to re-release 2 of my old outfits from second life on FFXIV and create two new pieces over august. And in September feeling much more comfortable with the process, i released five outfits made from scratch.
So ultimately i do want to give online content creation another shot, but this time using final fantasy 14 as my central platform, and if you are willing to support me on this journey, you have my thanks, and i'll do my best to make you proud for supporting my work.
