So I think I’m gonna start doing some “au facts” on this AU like last time. Cause even tho I def want to expand on this AU, there’s so much I don’t think I’ll bother having the characters say. Simply for the fact that it would be a lot of info dumps/speech bubbles without the characters actually doing anything

I’m not too knowledgeable about OmegaVerse lore/rules tbh, so I’m not sure if what I established for my version is common or not lol

For starters, to help explain this page, taking care of your omega is a 2 way street. It satisfies the Alpha just as much if not more than the Omega. And this is what Kats is referring to by asking him if this is all for Deku’s own dynamic. Kats also almost solely refers to “alpha” and “omega” as their “dynamics”. This is cause he hates using those terms. Even Izuku needs to be careful actually calling him an Omega

Omega pro heroes are not treated well in this AU and very commonly people attempt to take advantage of them in some way or another. So keeping your dynamic a secret or pretending to be a dom/alpha, is the easiest way to go about. Currently when this comic is taking place, only Izuku and their parents know that Katsuki’s an Omega

Edit: I forgot to add the part I wanted to explain lol Izuku comment about his getting better at communicating was actually a nod to their early relationship. When they first got serious (but hadn’t told anyone they started dating yet) Katsuki was having an incredibly hard time coming to terms with the fact that he was the sub in the relationship. He also doesn’t have a regular “omega” dynamic, but I plan to explain that later.

But due to his irregular dynamic, he has an incredibly high tolerance to an Alpha/Dom’s glare and commands. The only person he really responds to in this respect, is Izuku. Even tho he hates that

An omega/alpha’s sex drive is highly synced to their compatibility to their own and partners dynamic. So Izuku, who’s is comfortable in his position and loves having a compatible Alpha x Omega dynamic with Katsuki, is a normal (maybe above normal) needy, clingy, high sex drive alpha

On the contrary, especially early in their relationship, Katsuki was a low sex drive, emotionally and physically unavailable omega. This was mainly because of his ridiculous high tolerance and hate of being a sub. So while he loved spending time and being with Izuku, anything that required him to feed into his sub dynamic, made him angry and distant

(This description is long enough, so I won’t go into too much more detail) long story short, Izuku found some new ways to make Kacchan more comfortable in their relationship. And with time, he grew to occasionally enjoy Izuku playing “alpha”. But since Izuku is still by far more needy than Kacchan, when Izuku gets to be too overbearing, Kats will ask him if it’s to satisfy Izuku or him. (This is an agreement they came to early on cause Izuku’s clinginess and Katsuki’s lack of understanding Izuku’s needs started causing fights)

Depending on how Katsuki reacted to his advances during his pre-heat, Izuku will sometimes lie and say the coddling is solely to satisfy himself so Kat’s pride won’t be hurt. For the most part, Izuku’s normally honest about this though, and will pull back if told he’s being too much
