Friday News&Updates!

[Stevie here!] It might be a long one, I feel like telling you everything this morning hahaha. This week it was a weird mix of euphoria and worrying for me - I was completely hyper about being finally back to full health after a month ( A MONTH) of sickness with a uber daycare cold that traveled from my sinuses to my throat and ear with a viral conjunctivitis that camp there on my eye the whole time. I looked like a zombie and was so tired, I couldn't sleep well with all the aches. I do not recommend this one! So yeah, I felt like coming back to life after a long bad dream but I had to catch up on so many things at work and for the Patreon. I have done the first Miku illustration for next month and the OC piece is now to the colorization stage and once that is done I'll be able to pick another one from the ⁠post-your-oc channel!

The thing that worries me is that animation here in Montreal is doing really really bad... sudios are closing one after the other, big studios as much as smaller one. Our stoopid government decided to cut the tax credit for cinema, games and animation so this result on companies packing up to go else where it will be less expensive to create. So I had no choice to take a random job to survive as an administrative assistant - fancy name for someone writing emails and making schedule. I kind of like it although it takes one mean client to ruin my entire day. I'm worried that Random and I can't find jobs anymore in our field and having to take very low pay jobs. This is all happening while I - drum rolls - am pregnant with baby #2. So that adds up to the number of beings I'm worried for! Anyway... I plan on going back to school after this pregnancy to become a hairdresser and hope to have my own salon at home like some of the do, that would be something I can see myself do and be happy.

 I hope I'm not too depressing this morning hahaha, I'm still in a good mood and thankful for what I have, it's just a little rough patch. I hope you're all doing great! Do you have plans for this weekend? I know I'll be spending time with my daughter and hopefully have time to finish my paper mario game! (I'm doing the danger mario thing, so much fun!)
