Leave some general questions about me, my art, my comics and I'll try to add them to the page!

2024-05-08 17:58:13 +0000 UTCThank you, I like your inking and painting styles and wanted a glimpse into how you work. I’m used to the adobe suite and procreate. I tried to Clip Studio, they’ve got a great system, but my pc’s most likely too old and it runs kinda laggy.

Sure, sex sells, and as long as the human race has a libido, it will always be in demand, but I see a lot of people discount the talent of a lot of my peers in this community, saying stuff that they're good "despite being a porn artist". It's just a very backhanded remark. Art is art, no matter the subject matter. (Not really a FAQ but a very good question nonetheless)

The titular "Dandy Demon" is the name of the Nightclub where Caesar and Silvia met. I will admit this was a retroactive decision on my part, as the cast of characters was initially called "The Dandy Demons". As I developed the characters I didn't really like the idea of them being demons and wanted to make a more Monsters Inc. inspired world. So understand the confusion

I started drawing NSFW as a way to indulge and explore a side of myself that I wasn't really allowed to having grown up religious. I didn't actually start making money with this until like a year or 2 into drawing NSFW and I didn't start doing it for a living until like...2021? I started by doing commissions while working on comics on the side, eventually, I started this Patreon to fund my comics and later started selling comics. So it's been a slow burn.

2024-05-08 17:14:44 +0000 UTCI used a Huion Kamvas Pro 13, and Clip Studio Paint as my primary software. The brushes I use are a multitude of custom brushes I made and some I grab from the Clip Studio Asset Store. It's hard to say what I take as inspo. A lot of my favorite media is live-action dramas and martial arts films. Dandy Demon was specifically inspired more by sitcoms. Bun Bash was very much inspired by Battle Manga like One Punch Man, Kengan, and Tenkaichi.

After nearly a decade, I've grown very unhappy with the state of the project and would like to move on to new concepts. I may return to Dandy Demon, but not any time soon.
