I know I'm late to this but just wanted to tell you my little take on Mabel finding tacos in the car and "that's where secret surprise snacks happen!" Having had a grandpa a bit like Stan, I think he hid the tacos there for them to find right before he picked them up (they had just been to the Mexican food place after all) because he was thinking of Mabel and Dipper and wanted to be sweet to them, but didn't want to give up his grumpy old man vibe. Just seems like something Stan would do.

2025-06-05 20:52:28 +0000 UTCI've never watched Gravity Falls until your reaction videos. I don't even remember hearing about it when it originally came out. Wasn't until the book that I watched the first couple of episodes but then got distracted. You're not the only one with a dirty mind and yeah, they know. They have to know what they're doing. I'm always being told by strangers, I should get into voice acting because I have a great voice. I'm only good at accents when I hear them first as I just mimic them and usually on accident. People do like my voice, even after being sick for a few days. Just haven't looked into who I'd need to send stuff to.

It really makes me feel like the money spent on your patreon is absoluteley worth it. Your content is amazing. A creator like you automatically kinda atracts people of the same vibe/attitude. So the true reason why this community is amazing is probably because your are being the delightful role model.

2025-03-10 20:42:57 +0000 UTCI think one of the other biggest reasons to get a celebrity cameo voice actor in a cartoon like this is for the creators to meet someone they’ve always looked up to, or are just a big fan of. With larger productions it would obviously all be money, but for cartoons specifically, I think it’s for the love of the person themselves.

Just a fun reference that I've always enjoyed, especially the wordplay of Lilliputtians lmao

2025-03-09 23:37:34 +0000 UTCAs an aspiring voice actor, that's one of the things I have to worry about. It's less about having a nice voice for what you said, and more having a well-known voice. There are so many talented voice actors who do work, just on more lowkey things or videogames. For big ticket movies and tv shows, I think studios have found that it's more profitable to use well known celebrity actors (example: Chris Pratt in Mario Movie) so that they can sell the movie based off of the celebrity. Good voice acting is so underappreciated in our society nowadays.
